DFG/TFG 425–435 –IC (Internal Combustion) truck

Characteristics

The use of IC (Internal Combustion) Trucks facilitates the move of large heavy loads from one area to another area easily. Therefore it results in lesser frequent moving of staff or the handling equipment.

There are lots of IC trucks models for the user to choose that best fit their operations. It comes with payload capacities range from 1600kg to 9000kg. This version comes with a lifting capacity of 2500kg to 3000kg and is available in gas and diesel version. It also come with either a hydro-dynamic drives which are ideal for long transportation distances or a hydro-static drives which are ideal for frequent changes in direction.

The advantages are that it provides excellent driving stability due to the extremely low centre of gravity and rear axle. Thus it would not be at the mercy of its heavy load. Nevertheless it has a cushion mounted drive unit to minimize vibration to the operator.
The disadvantages are that when compared to electric trucks, IC trucks need more maintenance which results in more downtime and capital cost for a given facility or operation. In addition, electric trucks have 30% more service life compared to IC trucks according to Lead Industries Association.

SCISSORS LIFT TABLE

Scissors Lift Tables are large platform which can be elevated to allow work access to high location in a warehouse. It is designed for heavy duty applications and can transport heavy workload over a shirt distances.

It consists of two mechanically synchronized pair of scissor arms to gain maximum stability. This type gives the advantage of being able to handle heavy loads distributed over a larger work surface. There are also lifts that possess sufficient space that allow multiple workers to move about as well as a base for which tools can be placed for easy access.

A standard scissor lift consists of a metal platform (known as the lift table) several feet in length, which can sometimes be elongated with an extension deck. The base of the scissor lift houses the machinery and is either motor-driven or moved by towing. The lift table and base are connected by means of a criss-crossed drive shaft, which uses hydraulic force to elevate the work area and can be easily compressed in when lowered.

Scissor lifts commonly achieve heights of 20 feet, and can frequently extend up to 50 feet.
Carrying capacities range from 50kg to 200kg.Lifts are either powered by gas or diesel or electricity. Electric scissors are quieter, cleaner and safer for indoor use.

STACKER
-
Stacker is a combination of pallet trucks and forklift as it purposes are the same which is to facilitates load unitization and reduce the frequency of movement. It has a compact design with strong steel construction and a robust fork lift with strong support arms and mast for minimal bending, safe lifting and long life. It is a simple and convenient lifting operation system with a smooth control of lifting and lowering for high precision. Having the special feature of the support arm lift, it able to cope with the uneven floors, ramps, transfer plates or loading ramps through additional ground clearance.

It has a capacity range from 1000kg to 1600kg and a lifting height range from 1600mm to 5350mm. It travel speed with or without load is at 6km/h for pedestrian operated truck whereas is lifting speed and lowering speed ranges from 0.14m/s to 0.23m/s and 0.40m/s respectively.

The advantage of using a stacker is that it able to double deck transports 2 pallets at the same time. It is remarkable safety for the operator to us as all lifting and lowering functions can be sensitively controlled with the multi-function tiller head without reaching round.
